has 19 years of experience in the mattress business

as a Factory Rep, selling Englander mattresses to

retail stores in a five-state area. He knows the business

well, inside and out…literally and figuratively

speaking. He knows that there is one sure way for a

difference for you, the customer, and that’s to DO IT

YOURSELF!

At Mattresses & More, Rick literally does it all.

A one-man operation, he does everything from unloading

the Englander semis, to delivering them to

you. That saves YOU money.

“It’s factory…to me…to you,” Rick explained.

“There’s no warehouse manager, no supervisors, no

salesmen, no delivery guys. Just me. And that’s the

way I like it.”

Rick knows what Winona consumers want and

expect when they shop for mattresses, so after graduating

from Winona State University in 1991 and

traveling the road as a factory representative selling

Englander mattresses to retail stores in the five state

area, he decided to go into business for himself.

“Winona needs a good mattress store, one that

sells quality mattresses at great prices,” Rick said.

“Winona shoppers want a store where people can

go and feel confident about the product and where

they can feel confident the store will be there for

them down the road. He also believes strongly in the

Englander brand name.

“Having been in the business as a factory rep

for Englander all these years, I know what makes

a good mattress, what makes a great mattress, and

when you’re simply not getting enough mattress for

your money. I can pass that knowledge along to benefit

my customers and save them money at the same

time. When you buy an American made Englander

mattress from Mattresses & More, you know you’ll

be getting a great night’s sleep.”

Mattresses & More is open Thursdays through

Sundays in the Winona Mall. On Mondays, Tuesdays

and Wednesdays, Rick still keeps busy hitting

the road as a factory rep for Englander, with whom

he deals with exclusively.

With his family, Rick is now a resident of Cedar

Valley. He actually enjoys getting up early, heading

in to work and unloading the delivery truck. “But I

especially enjoy visiting with and serving my many

neighbors and friends who’ve joined the long list of

Mattresses & More customers.”

Rick’s strong work ethic and commitment to
